TherapyI specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is an evidence-based form of therapy helpful for depression, anxiety and stress issues. I also have experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive therapy and parent support. My goal is to help patients develop effective coping strategies to improve their overall level of functioning. Therapy may be targeted towards the individual, parents and/or family. Once weekly therapy usually produces the best results.

Medication ManagementMany individuals improve significantly with therapy alone, but more moderate to severe symptoms may require medication management in addition to ongoing therapy. I am Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and I utilize evidence-based prescribing practices. I carefully consider the risks and benefits of pharmacotherapy and help patients make educated treatment decisions. Children and adolescents often respond differently to medications and require close monitoring.
